TSMC is the world's largest contract manufacturer (foundry) for semiconductor products. OVGU students who are interested in the production of semiconductors now have the chance to apply for one of the very popular 4-week paid internships in Hsinchu, Taiwan. TSMC offers an intern salary, round-trip flight ticket and meal subsidy plus a chance for a direct job offer for the most successful candidates. The application period is still open until February.

Students who have successfuly been accepted by TSMC for this internship opportunity, should also inform Ms. Seela about the internship acceptance, in order to secure support of our International Office for and during the internship period.

Since Summer of 2024 the International Office is located at the Building 01 (Campus Welcome Center). Consultations without appointment are unfortunately not possible. You can reach us in Building 01 via the main entrance directly next to the Uni-Porta (at the tram stop "Universität").

PHD students, researchers and technical and administrative staff have the opportunity to receive funding for a stay at one of the EU GREEN partner institutions via the EU GREEN Research Mobility Program. In individual cases, Master's students may also be funded.
