Objectives
The graduates of the Master’s Program in Immunology are qualified for a large variety of possible career paths in medical research: Through an early introduction to scientific work, a M.Sc. in Immunology prepares graduates for a career in medical research, especially in the field of immunological basic research or immunological research in translational clinical topics. Pharmacological research and development: Through additional exposure to pharmacological teaching content combined with immunological and clinical connections, the foundations for a career in pharmacological research and development are well established. Biotechnology: Because of the interconnected combination of subjects with further emphasis in the fields of molecular biology, human genetics, microbiology and infectiology and practical work in the laboratory, there are many opportunities in the field of biotechnology, for example therapeutics and diagnostics development.
Competencies and Interests Required
• Admission Requirements: See Above
• Enthusiasm for research and immunological problems
