OVGU digital - eLearning
What do we mean by digital competences?
The buzzword digitalisation of studies and teaching summarises fundamental processes of change that go beyond purely technological possibilities. In addition to didactic concepts for imparting knowledge and building competences, new forms of organisational cooperation are also counted in order to be able to open up new teaching-learning spaces as well as target groups.
What goals are we pursuing with digital teaching and learning?
The University of Magdeburg sees digitalisation as an opportunity to respond to the changing demands of students and lecturers and to include the diversity of both groups of actors in teaching.
How is eLearning sustainably anchored in everyday university life?
In order to accompany the digital change in studying and teaching at the OVGU more closely in terms of content, the eLearning working group was established, among other things. The working group is a network of lecturers with an affinity for eLearning and interested university staff members The working group meets every two months and serves the collegial, interdisciplinary exchange as well as the development of competence in the area of digital teaching and learning. The working group supports the dissemination of tried and tested solutions and the networking of faculties and central support units.
