Duration 4 Semesters Enrollment Winter and summer semester Admission restriction No restricted admission Entry requirements BSc, BE or BTech in Chemical and Energy Engineering or a closely related subject such as chemical or systems engineering with a minimum Bachelor GPA of 2,30 on the German scale, including Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics and Heat & Mass Transfer; Mechanical Engineering if Thermodynamics, Chemistry and Fluid Dynamics is enclosed; Proof of English language proficiency: Non-native speakers have to deliver minimum TOEFL scores (paper based test - minimum 525, computer-based test - minimum 213, internet-based test - minimum 80) or IELTS results of a minimum overall band 6.0.; Application deadline Applicants with German Bachelor degree an der OVGU Winter Semester: 15 September Applicants with German Bachelor degree an der OVGU Summer Semester: 15 March Applicants with International Bachelor degree über uni-assist Winter Semester: 15 July Applicants with International Bachelor degree über uni-assist Summer Semester: 15 January Language English
Objectives
The programme aims at providing the students with in-depth knowledge and competences on chemical and energy engineering, enables them to use new scientific methods for their work and to master a broad variety of permanent new challenges in the fields of research, practical application of scientific results and teaching. They finish the programme being well prepared for their future professional career.
