The OVGU account grants students access to the data network of Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. It is required for using Wi-Fi, the LSF portal, myOVGU, and other OVGU portals. Additionally, it allows login to library computers and faculty computer pools. Each student receives a personal email address with their OVGU account, which can be accessed via the university's webmail portal. Students who wish to print, scan, or copy on campus can top up their balance through their personal account.
Activation
Activation is required immediately after enrollment and can be done even before starting your studies.
