Scholarship trip with sponsor Regiocom

Sail away! Scholarship sponsor Regiocom invited several scholarship holders to a nice boat trip on the Elbe in June 2022 as part of the Deutschlandstipendium. Included in the trip: lots of exchanges and networking.

In bright sunshine, the group around the sponsor Regiocom met at the marina in Magdeburg. In a relaxed atmosphere, first contacts were made and experiences were exchanged. Afterwards, the group boarded the Elbe raft, whose small seating areas and tables were set with drinks and treats.

The trip led idyllically along the Elbe, with a view of the city and plenty to talk about. In particular, the scholarship holders' experiences of their studies during Corona and their plans for the future provided a lively exchange. "It was really awesome and a great chance to meet the students in person for once," said Janice Fischle, part of Regiocom's recruiting team, which was responsible for the excursion.

About the Germany Scholarship

The scholarship program has been supporting motivated and committed students from various disciplines since 2011. In addition to financial support, the focus is also on the exchange and contact between scholarship holders and sponsors. At Magdeburg University, the scholarship is currently being offered again for the winter semester 2022/23.
