The scholarship program of the OVGU connects the scholarship holders with each other and supports networking with the sponsoring companies. Following the scholarship kick-off event as a small welcome to the new semester, additional excursions and activities were planned for the summer.

Scholarship Regulars' Table

At the scholarship regulars' table, scholarship holders can exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere, find similarities and develop ideas for future activities. While having a cold drink, plans are made for the next regulars' table or for joint projects.

Barbecue raft ride with sponsor Regiocom

Networking and barbecue fun on the Elbe - sponsor Regiocom invited the scholarship holders! On board the Elbe raft, our scholarship holders enjoyed a nice exchange of ideas, tasty treats and, of course, drinks. In about two hours we went up the river Elbe and there was a lot of opportunity to get to know each other. Not only the scholarship holders enjoyed the trip, but also the sponsor team had a lot of fun.

Paddling trip with sponsor Hermes Fulfilment

Sporty activity was the order of the day at the paddling trip with the sponsor Hermes Fulfilment. The Mönchsgraben paddling tour was also intended for beginners, and was primarily about exchanging ideas and having fun while paddling together. The tour lasted about 1.5 to 2 hours, a professional guide was on site and brought all participants safely to their destination. A small round of talks beforehand provided interesting insights into the day-to-day work of the Hermes team and the plans of the scholarship holders.

Networking event with scholarship awarding

On October 18, 2022, the new scholarship holders were ceremoniously welcomed to the scholarship program and contacts with the sponsors were made possible. With the awarding of the scholarship certificates, the students are accepted into the scholarship network. Symbolically, the new sponsors in the program also receive a certificate every year.
