Also in the summer semester 2022, the scholarship program of OVGU connects the scholarship holders with each other and supports networking with the sponsoring companies. Following the scholarship kick-off event on April 27, 2022 as a small welcome to the new semester, additional excursions and activities are planned for the summer.

On July 7, 2021, the anniversary event for the Deutschlandstipendium took place at the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg. Alumni, active scholarship holders and friends and supporters of the university and the scholarship program were invited. Since 2011, over 400 scholarships have been awarded to talented and committed students at the University of Magdeburg.
