Successful Campuspitch International Outreach

The campuspitch for internationals on June 11, 2024 was once again a complete success:
70 students of engineering study programes listened to the pitches from a total of 8 companies and student initiatives. Under the tent in front of Building 18 at the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg, the students got to learn how to get involved with our university.

Positive voices were heard above all about the university city of Magdeburg:
"I chose Magdeburg because the university has a good reputation. I like it here, the city is quiet and peaceful, there is a lot of space and greenery, I like that!" said a Master's student from Bangladesh.

 

Campuspitch

Job interviews the other way round: At the campuspitch, the companies introduce themselves to the students. The company representatives each have just under 45 seconds to present their company in short pitches. Afterwards, the students can talk to the companies and make contacts in individual and group discussions at the tables. A total of 8 companies and student initiatives successfully took part in the campus pitch in this round: HORIBA FuelCon, regiocom SE, UniNow GmbH, EXIST AuRora, FlaR Racing Team, IKUS, AIESEC, and SMD – Netzwerk von Christen in Schule, Hochschule und Beruf.
