The new online volunteer database "SONA Research Participation System" enables interested people to participate as volunteers in ongoing scientific studies at the University, the University Medical Center, the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology (LIN) and the German Centre for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE). The system includes a wide range of scientific experiments on various questions, which is open to interested people from all age groups. Test persons can help to gain the latest insights into perception, motor skills, learning processes or decision-making, for example.
The website makes it easy and safe for people interested in studies to get in touch. New studies can only be entered by registered staff members of the institutes. An overview of available studies as well as further information, including financial compensation, can be viewed on the website after registration.
