Angela Matthies
The Chancellor is the head of the central university administration of the University of Magdeburg. She is a permanent member of the Rectorate and participates in the meetings of the university bodies. In addition, she is the Rector's permanent representative in legal and administrative matters and the budget officer. She is the supervisor of the non-academic staff of the university. In addition, she is responsible, among other things, for financial and study matters as well as for building and property management, environmental concerns and support for international relations, and for IT in administrative processes. She is the election officer of the OVGU.
