Bachelor of Science in Vocational Education and Training in a relevant subject* or Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant subject* or comparable degree (e.g. diploma) as decided on a case-by-case basis.
*(vocational education and training, educational sciences, health sciences, social sciences, economic sciences and engineering sciences with suitable specialisations).

Objectives
The degree programme prepares students for senior or higher (management) positions, e.g. in educational institutions of companies and chambers. Activities in the field of teaching/learning aids, VET research or international development cooperation can also be pursued. The academic degree "Master of Science" entitles the holder to a doctorate. The degree programme allows for different subject orientations (differentiation area) depending on the previous studies. The programme is also open to applicants from non-technical disciplines (such as psychology, social pedagogy, health, economics, etc.). Professional practical studies, which are completed and reflected upon in the employment field of "business", provide practical preparation for later employment. Depending on the previous studies and the associated area of differentiation, students can choose from the (special vocational) subjects or general subjects offered:
- Operational Management,
- Human Resources and Organisational Development,
- Work-Technology Education,
- Specialised subject: Computer Science.
In addition, a core study in "Vocational Education and Training Management and Operational Human Resources Development" is included.

- Tasks in the area of vocational education and training research
- Teaching activities as a teacher in continuing vocational education and training courses at training institutions in the business enterprise sector
- Consultancy and development activities in the field of teaching materials (textbooks, technical documentation, experimental systems, laboratory concepts, etc.) including new media
- Technical and scientific lecturing activities in institutions of vocational and in-company training (e.g. chambers, professional associations, training providers)
- Freelance and independent consulting, project or lecturing activities
Competencies and Interests Required
- a great interest in bringing subject-related content closer to a target group in a way that is appropriate for the target group and/or
- the goal of being able to place the existing subject-specific knowledge in pedagogical and operational contexts.
