Christmas Break
Dear students, the International Office will be closed from 21 December 2024 until and including 6 January 2025. We wish you a Merry Christmas and look forward to being there for you again in the New Year!
TSMC DNA Summer Internship
TSMC is the world's largest contract manufacturer (foundry) for semiconductor products. OVGU students who are interested in the production of semiconductors now have the chance to apply for one of the very popular 4-week paid internships in Hsinchu, Taiwan. TSMC offers an intern salary, round-trip flight ticket and meal subsidy plus a chance for a direct job offer for the most successful candidates. The application period is still open until February.
Students who have successfuly been accepted by TSMC for this internship opportunity, should also inform Ms. Seela about the internship acceptance, in order to secure support of our International Office for and during the internship period.
Office Hours of the International Office in Building 01 (CWC)
Since Summer of 2024 the International Office is located at the Building 01 (Campus Welcome Center). Please check the pages of the respective employees for their office hours and locations of the appointments. To book an appointment, please use the respective appointment booking tool. Consultations without appointment are unfortunately not possible. You can reach us in Building 01 via the main entrance directly next to the Uni-Porta (at the tram stop "Universität").
EU GREEN Research Mobility Program
PHD students, researchers and technical and administrative staff have the opportunity to receive funding for a stay at one of the EU GREEN partner institutions via the EU GREEN Research Mobility Program. In individual cases, Master's students may also be funded.
