The European Erasmus+ Exchange Programme at OVGU
The Erasmus+ programme, one of the European Union's greatest success stories, has funded the cross-border mobility of students, university lecturers and university staff in Europe since 1987. Currently, the OVGU maintains almost 200 Erasmus+ bilateral agreements with different partner universities. The agreements are subject specific and set out the number of exchange students and possible duration of the exchange. The International Office is responsible for the coordination of the the Erasmus+ programme across all faculties. Our exchange database always provides you with the current exchange opportunities.
Each Erasmus+ student will be given an Erasmus+ Student Charter by their sending university or higher education institution after their selection. The Student Charter highlights the rights and obligations of students participating in Erasmus+. It informs Erasmus+ students about what they are entitled to and what is expected of them during their secondment for studies and/or for a traineeship.
