At the Market of Opportunities on 05 October 2023 at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, first-year students can expect an extensive programme on campus. Student initiatives, student bodies and central institutions will introduce themselves to the first-semester students. During the introductory days, the new students will get to know the campus and the university, and at the Market of Opportunities they will learn everything they need to know about student life and possible involvement. Because from now on, the motto is: Let's rethink the world together!

With our Market of Opportunities on 05 October, the focus is on student engagement. On this day, you can expect an insight into future student life. The university, city and students will introduce themselves to you and welcome you to the main campus in the middle of Magdeburg.

At the University of Magdeburg, students can get involved in over 50 student initiatives and thus not only pursue hobbies alongside their studies, but also make many new friends. First-semester students can get information about getting involved at the Market of Opportunities and talk to fellow students.
