The 12th German Diversity Day will take place on May 28, 2024, under the motto "Voice for diversity - 365 days a year". On this day, companies, organizations and institutions across Germany will highlight the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, raise awareness to reduce prejudice and promote inclusive working environments in Germany. In times of social crisis, it is more important than ever to work together for diversity and against discrimination (Diversity Charter).

The aim of Diversity Day at Otto von Guericke University is to raise awareness of the importance of diversity and inclusion, to support exchange and to show together how important it is to promote and shape diversity.

For this purpose, there will be a Diverstiy Café on May 28 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm under the tent in front of Building 18. The café offers the opportunity to exchange ideas with members of the Network for Equal Opportunities and Diversity and to summarize together where there are challenges with regard to the topic of diversity at OVGU and what the wish or vision for a "University for All" would be.

Furthermore, the starting signal will be given for the photo competition entitled: "Limitless: Your perspective on diversity and inclusion at OVGU", which is being held in cooperation with the EU GREEN Network. Further information and the conditions of participation can be found below.
