Faculty of Economics and Management
The Faculty of Economics and Management sees itself as a modern academic institution, which derives its basic understanding from four central elements: the unity of economics and management, theoretical scholarship, international orientation of research and teaching, and the intrinsic practical relevance of the theoretical scholarship. With the expansion of its research partnerships, the Faculty of Economics and Management will consistently strengthen its position as the third pillar for research and innovation at OVGU. To this end, the focus of research will be placed even more strongly on the central research topics of OVGU, in particular in relation to globalising markets, demographic change and the need to consolidate public budgets. These topics are already the subject of the research partnership with the IWH.
