Germany Scholarship

Half of the Germany Scholarship is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the other half by companies, foundations or private individuals. Students are supported with 300 euros per month for at least two semesters and up to the end of their standard period of study. This support is independent of income and can be drawn in addition to BAföG benefits.
The support helps young people to improve their living and learning conditions. In this way, it brings creative minds forward and makes an important contribution to combating the impending shortage of skilled workers.

In cooperation with over 100 companies, foundations, associations and even private individuals as well as the federal government, the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg has now been able to support 416 high-achieving students with a Germany Scholarship.
