EUREKA/Eurostars-Programme
Eurostars is a joint funding programme of EUREKA and the European Commission, which is implemented under Horizon Europe as Eurostars 3. The aim of Eurostars is to motivate small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) more strongly to engage in European cooperation in research and development projects. Eurostars is a measure according to Art. 185 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. Accordingly, project participants are supported from national funds, which are topped up by a contribution from the European Commission. A prerequisite for the participation of German universities is the participation of a German SME in the project. German partners in a project together receive a maximum of 500,000 € in funding.
