Lecture series on hydrogen as an energy source

In the winter semester, there will be a lecture series on “Hydrogen as an energy source” with 13 lectures. To kick things off on October 15, 2024, Prof. Michael Scheffler will give the lecture “One gas fits all: Only H2 (?) in the future”. The lectures are free of charge. Registration is not required. (in German)

Theme week on healthy eating

The ‘You are what you eat’ theme weeks take place in November. There will be weekly check-up activities, various talks and cookery workshops on the topic of healthy eating. Further information and registration can be found on the following page.

Invitation EU GREEN Public Talk

Cosmopolitan and diverse - have all the possibilities really been exhausted?

“More appearance than reality - How diverse are universities really?” - there will be an ‘EU GREEN Public Talk’ on November 7, 2024 from 6 pm. The debate will take place as a hybrid event via Zoom and in the CampusTheater in English.

Radiance for drive research

After around 12 months of construction, the new Center for Method Development CMD building was officially opened. In future, the new research building will be used to conduct research into the development of sustainable drives using virtual methods and processes.

Martin Krause is the new head of the Transfer and Intellectual Property Rights department at the Transfer and Start-up Center (TUGZ). The patent assessor is responsible for reviewing the university's own inventions.
